You lost me when you started to tar Reagan as a neo-Nazi. If someone as mainstream as him can be portrayed as part of an alt-right conspiracy, then I don’t know where we’re going with this. I’m a conservative who wants the alt-right thoroughly marginalized; they make real conservatives, what I might call egalitarian classical liberals look bad, that is true, because so many unthinking “centrists” (or “normies”) associate them with a certain direction on a one-dimensional (and misleading) spectrum. The important difference is that they have a very different set of PRINCIPLES. The reality is that the neo-Marxist Left and the alt-right are singing discordant harmonies to the same identity-politics hymnbook!
