You seem to have utterly missed the point of the passage that you, yourself highlighted, Mary. It's not about being ignored. Being ignored would be a relief compared to being accused of the most unforgivable sin left in America, the sin of being a racist. Once today's young people resign themselves to the reality that they will be accused of being a racist if they can't agree to every insane claim and demand put forward by the radical left, then they have already been pushed across a certain line. They didn't step there willingly, they were pushed there. But now that they're there, how much more likely are they to listen to the voices of other people who are considered over that line? My sincere hope is that they are largely immune to the siren song of the alt-right racialists, but my argument is that they have been pushed into its earshot by the sheer insanity bubbling up from the radical left of late. I repeat my main point once more: NO ACCUSATION HAS EVER HELPED HEAL A DIVIDE!
